It is interesting that Obama in trying to be "the man" is saying his wife is off limits esp. for her remarks concerning her pride or lack thereof in America. Well I can you imagine Lady Bird Johnson saying anything like this? Pat Nixon? Frankly only Hillary Clinton is capable of such comments and she is too smart to say such things.
Frankly Michelle Obama as first lady is an issue with her radical outlook of life in America. Normally the first lady is a picture of decorum and civility. Michelle is just another liberal angry african-American woman.
In my lifetime first ladies have always been above partisan politics, yes they have their pet issues but they have always been gracious, given to hospitality and kindness. Yet those are not the traits that come to mind when one thinks of Mrs. Obama.
Can you imagine the movie of her later years living beyond her husband, being guarded by secret service agents in a penthouse in Chicago? (Like the movie Guarding Tess) I can hear the cognac bottles crashing against the wall a snarly angry voice rasping out "bring me another one".
America has been very good to Michelle Obama. The question is would she be "good for America?"
